District 4 is home to some of God’s most beautiful rolling hills, rivers, and majestic mountains with some of the finest people I know. I am proud of where we live and look forward to increasing the quality of life, freedoms, and prosperity of each resident in District 4. I take this opportunity very seriously.
As your representative, I am committed to reducing the financial burden on hardworking families by advocating for lower taxes across the board. Less tax means more freedom to spend, save, and invest in your future. I will fight to drive down the cost of housing, lower the cost of living, and reduce and eliminate the sales tax on food and the gas tax, putting more money back in your pocket.
Additionally, I am dedicated to reducing residential property taxes, so you can keep more of what you earn and invest in your family’s future. Tax cuts are not just about saving money—they're about empowering you to live with greater freedom and opportunity. Together, we can create a stronger, more prosperous community for all.
Utah’s small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and to help them thrive, we need to unleash the power of free enterprise by cutting unnecessary regulations and getting government out of the way. By reducing red tape and creating an environment where entrepreneurs can succeed, we empower families to realize their dreams, grow their businesses, and create jobs.
I also believe it’s time to return control of federal lands to the state, where we have a deeper understanding of our resources and how best to manage them. Washington, D.C. bureaucrats don't know our lands like we do, and local control will ensure that our natural resources are used wisely, sustainably, and in a way that benefits Utahns for generations to come.
Let’s create an economy that works for all of us by embracing the principles of free enterprise and local control.
Parents, not the federal government, should control their children's education. I’ll fight to return education decisions to local communities, reduce federal interference, and eliminate "wokeism" in schools. This includes supporting public, private, and charter schools to ensure every student has access to a quality, common-sense education.
Together, we can create a stronger, more prosperous future for our communities.
Education is a fundamental right, and parents— not the federal government— should have the primary role in shaping their children's education. It’s time to return control of schools to the states and communities, where local values and needs can guide curriculum decisions. As your representative, I will fight to ensure that parents have a seat at the table and that their voices are heard in decisions about their children's future.
We need to push back against the overreach of federal mandates and the rise of "wokeism" that gets in the way of delivering a quality, common-sense education. This effort will include supporting public, private, and charter schools, ensuring every student has access to the best education possible, free from political agendas and top-down interference.
Together, we can restore the power of local communities to shape the future of our children and strengthen our schools.
